Its main objective is to be a "cultural reality" dedicated to the development of human personality, through the culture of the expression and creativity in arts and crafts. Rodrigo Echeverri

Internationally renowned Colombian artist Rodrigo Echeverri' is having his first solo show in the U.S at Ideobox Artspace, located in the Wynwood Art District. Echeverri's work is constructed with various types of mediums from acrylic/oil paints to wood dye on canvas, fiberboard, and wood.

Wynwood Gallery Walk

The Wynwood Second Saturday takes place monthly from 7:00 p.m. to 10:00 p.m. The gallery walk is free and open to the public. Galleries and public institutions open their doors for this artistic encounter as entertainment, cocktails and more spill onto the streets as gatherers enjoy the vibrant and creative atmosphere.

Ocean Drive and Beyond Walking Tour

This ninety-minute walking tour provides an introduction to the Art Deco, Mediterranean Revival, and Miami Modern styles found within the Miami Beach Architectural Historic District. Tours depart from the Art Deco Welcome Center located at 1001 Ocean Drive in Miami Beach, FL on the following schedule: Wed. and Fri-Sun. at 10:30 a.m.; Thurs. at 6:30 p.m. The Welcome Center is open daily from 10:00 a.m. to 7:00 p.m.

The new Tampa Museum of Art

The Tampa Museum of Art opened its doors in February to a new 60,000 sq ft museum designed by the San Francisco architect Stanley Saitowitz. For the last 10 years - of 31 years of existing - the institution have been waiting to accommodate their budget and the right appointments to get a Museum built. Called a "jewell box" by its creator, the new building is itself a frame for art.
